ABOUT
I was raised on a small family dairy farm in southern Michigan in a faithful, Godly home. I accepted Jesus as my Savior and was baptized at age 12. After attending Michigan State University, I transferred to Great Lakes Christian College to pursue Pastoral Ministries. In 2010, I became the lead campus minister with His House Christian Fellowship (now Campus Collective) at UW–O, where I continue to serve. College ministry allows me to disciple believers, reach those far from Christ, and train future leaders for their callings in life. I’m passionate about leadership development and organizational health and am grateful to lead an incredible team.
My wife, Ashleigh, and I met in high school while showing animals at our county fair—thanks to her wild steer! We’ve been married since 2008 and have two daughters, Allison (VCS ’31) and Ava (VCS ’34). We live south of Omro on a small hobby farm, lead our local 4-H club, and attend Oakbrook Church in Oshkosh, where I serve in children’s ministry and occasionally preach.
At Valley, I enjoy coaching middle school girls’ basketball and track. I helped start and coach the pole vaulting program, now offered to both middle and high school students. I’m a natural coach and encourager, andI look forward to being an advocate for Valley Christian School and its families. Philippians 2:3–11 and Matthew 20:25–28 continually remind me of Christ’s selfless service—my prayer is that our board and school would reflect that same heart.
