Lisa Johnson

MS Science, Math

725-7985 ext. 134

Lisa Johnson joins Valley Christian School as a Middle School Science and Math Teacher. A recent graduate of UW Oshkosh, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with certification to teach 4K–9th grade and a minor in science. Lisa has previously served as a substitute teacher at Valley on the Oshkosh campus in both elementary and high school classrooms.

Lisa is passionate about helping students discover their God-given abilities and loves seeing the moment when learning “clicks.” She desires for her students to view themselves as image-bearers of God, loved, valued, and created with purpose. Her goal is to encourage students to place their full confidence and identity in Christ, knowing that when learning is rooted in Him, they can reach their highest potential.

Lisa is excited for her first year teaching at a Christian school and looks forward to building relationships with her students and their families. She hopes to reflect the love of Jesus in her classroom, supporting her students not only in academics but also in their emotional and spiritual growth.

Outside of the classroom, Lisa enjoys spending time with her identical twin sister and recently served as a missionary intern in Togo, West Africa. She is grateful for the influence of her church community, family, and friends, who have shaped her into the person she is today.
