Colleen Mader

Colleen Mader joins Valley Christian School this year as the 6th Grade Computer and 7th Grade Science Teacher. She is excited to serve students and partner with families while working alongside staff who share her Christian faith.

Colleen is passionate about building strong relationships with her students and helping them see themselves as hardworking, growing individuals—both personally and spiritually. Her goal is to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that supports academic, social, emotional, and spiritual growth.

She brings creativity to her teaching through storytelling, real-life connections, and hands-on activities. With a balance of humor and empathy, Colleen fosters a classroom where students feel safe to be themselves while being challenged to grow. Her desire is for each student to be actively engaged, curious, and confident in who God has called them to be.
