Gretchen Schilder

Gretchen Schilder has been faithfully serving Valley Christian School since 2021. She began as an Educational Assistant and now serves as the High School Office Manager. Gretchen loves being part of a Christ-centered environment where staff work together with the shared goal of providing students with a positive place to grow—not only academically, but also in their relationship with Christ.

In her role, Gretchen especially enjoys watching high school students mature and step into new milestones—whether it’s earning their driver’s license, taking on a challenging AP class, applying for college scholarships, building friendships, or simply developing consistency in their daily work.

Her goal at Valley is to serve in ways both big and small: supporting teachers behind the scenes, encouraging students in their daily walk, or simply greeting them at the door with a warm smile. Gretchen believes each task has value and is grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of the Valley Christian High School community.
